Hi. I am seeking a female renter for a furnished bedroom with private bath that will be available Dec 31. It’s in a two-story townhouse I own and live in located in northwest Durham off Sparger Rd. $550 a month includes all utilities and wi-fi. Shared kitchen and laundry. Located near highways 85, 751, 70, 147 and 15-501. Short drive to Duke University or hospital (5 miles). Off street parking space right in front of townhouse. It’s in a really peaceful and quiet neighborhood on a private street. The nearest bus stop is Neal/Constitution near American Village. I’m a female and lesbian, so must be LGBTQ-friendly. I like things clean, quiet, and peaceful. I prefer open communication. I have cats that are friendly so no additional pets. No smoking or drug use allowed on the property. Six month or longer lease possible with potential option to renew. Must have rental references, pass a background check, have income to cover rent. Refundable deposit is $300 and due when moving in. First months rent due upon move in as well. I am working from home currently, social distance, and wear a mask when out, so whoever I rent to also must be willing to do the same to reduce possibility of COVID exposure/transmission.
